Microsoft has officially announced the 1TB Xbox One and the new controller.
“Since Xbox One launched, one of the most frequent requests from fans is to add more storage to their consoles and today we’re delivering,” Microsoft said.
The $400 dollar console will not come with a Kinect camera, but will include a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a USB 3.0 drive, and the new wireless controller and a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Not to mention that all of the current controller accessories will be compatible with the new controller.
“We’ve also improved the quality of audio coming through the controller and increased the maximum audio volume on headsets used with this controller, based on fan feedback.” Microsoft says.
The new console will be in stores June 16th and you will be able to buy the new controller separately. Microsoft has announced that the 500GB console price will stay at $350 which makes sense since that has been the price for months.
