According to Media Create, a Japanese analytics firm, Persona 4: Dancing All Night has sold over 94,000 copies in its first week. This makes the game the second best selling game in Japan last week, only behind Fire Emblem: Fates. Interestingly, Japanese Vita sales also doubled in the same time period, jumping from 12,288 to 23,954 sales.
In comparison to the other Shin Megami Tensei: Persona spinoff games, Persona 4: Dancing All Night clocks in at third in terms of opening week sales, behind Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth in first and Persona 4: Arena in second.
When compared to other recently released rhythm games, Persona 4: Dancing All Night also ranks third, behind Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ and Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night has been available in Japan as of June 25. The game is slated to release in North America and Europe sometime this fall.
