Smite, the third person MOBA developed by Hi-Rez Studios received its latest patch this week. The game, which originally launched on Windows, launches for the Xbox One on August 19th.
Although Smite has three giants to compete with on the PC (Dota 2, League of Legends, and Heroes of the Storm) its pretty barren on the console MOBA market. The Patch, which brings in general balancing, new skins, and voices, will also introduce a training map for those new to the game.
Most MOBA’s have a unique learning curve, and Smite is not an exception. Those players that complete the training map will receive bonus experience and favour. With multiple arenas for you to learn from, it’ll be interesting to see how much it actually helps the player base to learn the game.
