Ubisoft has released a trailer showcasing the DLC players will receive for pre-ordering the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy DLC will see you “join two of the greatest minds of the Industrial Revolution.”
Charles Darwin, the scientist who first discovered evolution, and Charles Dickens, “the greatest novelist of the era,” are both set to play a large role in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, but the DLC will extend their stories even further. According to the trailer, every mission will “unfold a new chapter of their history,” a statement that sounds as if the character missions will extend throughout the course of the game, instead of being a singular side piece.
What is perhaps most interesting is the few glimpses we see of how differently the two siblings approach and interact with the men, Evie wide-eyed with admiration and enthusiasm, while Jacob is unimpressed and dismissive.
Look for more on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate as we continue towards its October 23rd release date on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version scheduled to follow later in the fall.
