The original Borderlands and all of its DLC have been added to the (growing) list of Xbox 360 titles that will be supported by backwards compatibility on the Xbox One.

While backwards compatibility is set to roll out to all users in November, Xbox One Preview Program members are able to play Borderlands on their Xbox One today.

Announced via a blog post earlier today, Microsoft stressed that the ‘complete Borderlands’ experience would be playable, including all of its extra content.

“We are proud to support Xbox One Backward Compatibility by bringing the complete, original Borderlands to Xbox One, including all downloadable content,” said 2K President Christoph Hartmann. “We know many of our fans have put in dozens, even hundreds, of hours exploring the world of Pandora on their Xbox 360, and now they can continue their adventures on Xbox One.”

If you played the game on your Xbox 360, you will be able to pick up right where you left off according to the post.

As for the rest of the list of compatible titles, Microsoft promises more announcements are on the way. What titles are you still waiting to see revealed? Let us know your inquisitive thoughts in the comments below.
