Developer Quantic Dream tweeted earlier in the week that the release dates for the soon to be ported Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain are going to be announced in the near future. PS4 editions of the two games were announced in June; an ironic response from Sony, as Xbox made a jab about making people pay again for games they already own at around the same time.

Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, which were originally only going to be available in Europe and PAL regions, have been confirmed for release in North America too.

Apart from obviously improved graphics, there hasn’t been any information about what extras (if there are any) will be to come with the PS4 editions of these games. Footage of either game’s PS4 editions have yet to be released, if the developers are going to show us any at all.

You can buy just digital versions of each game or pay for a bundle, containing both games as downloads or discs. The price for these options haven’t been announced.

Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls are clocking up mileage now, with Heavy Rain’s release on PS3 throwing us back all the way to 2010. Quantic Dream have said that they are working on a new untitled project, which is set to be very different from their two preceding games.
