Electronic Arts has announced that the upcoming expansion for The Sims 4, Get Together, has been delayed.
The Sims 4’s latest expansion will release on December 8th. Announced at Gamescom in August, Get Together was originally slated for a November release.
Get Together adds a new area to the game called Windenburg, as well as new DJ and Dancing skills, and the ability to make your own club. “As you might have guessed from the name, this expansion is about your Sims getting together in really exciting new ways,” producer Lyndsay Pearson stated in a blog post.
“Your enthusiasm and feedback inspired us to work even harder to make sure that this pack is everything it could be,” Pearson continues. “So we’ve decided to take a little more time to work on the expansion pack… We’re taking this time to add more polish and depth into the core of The Sims 4 Get Together. We think this time will allow us to make the experience even bigger, better, and cooler.”
More information about The Sims 4 Get Together will be released in early November.
