Legion expansion set for summer 2016 release

Blizzard disappointed with the end of Warlords of Draenor, failing to wrap up the Gul’Dan plot line, creating a giant rip in the fabric of reality, and they are probably going to do more damage with Legion.

I cannot wait for Summer 2016, the official release date for World of Warcraft: Legion.  The expansion is going to prove to be even smaller then Warlords of Draenor, offering only 2 raids and 10 dungeons in total. 5 of those Dungeons are considered ‘leveling’ dungeons, while the other 5 are end game.

Blizzard did state during the Blizzcon panel that they want the dungeons to be more relevant to the story then ever before, but that doesn’t give up the fact that they will get stale fast.

The release date for Legion was leaked before they confirmed it at Blizzcon, giving us an idea of before October 2016. Activision Blizzard has come out to say that they believe Legion will be the best expansion to date on World of Warcraft, Demon hunter details have been revealed, Legion artifact weapons shown off, and by far the most important, plot details!

For those of you who are unaware with a lot of the lore in World of Warcraft, there is a huge amount of speculation as to who is going to die in Legion. That is right, not is anyone going to die, but who. I personally know many who are a big fan of the theory of Thrall dying – one that I can’t see happening quite yet.

Sylvanas has been going crazy for a little while now. Attempting to kill herself a few expansions ago, she wasted some of her Val’kyr and now has less life then ever before. Jaina is the Alliance’s ticking time bomb, with the bombing of Theramore causing more mental damage then anything else. Jaina encouraged King Wrynn to go and take out all of the Horde after dealing with Garrosh Hellscream, instead King Wrynn listened to his son, Anduin, and showed the Horde the sign of respect that they deserved.

With King Wrynn being a main character in the opening cinematic for Legion, I do believe that we will be seeing the end of King Varian Wrynn – and the beginning of King Anduin Wrynn. Either way, it looks like the Alliance lore is getting so much needed in game love, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
