Final Fantasy XIV’s Make it Rain Campaign will began later this week, Square Enix has announced.
The Make it Rain Campaign is a new seasonal event for Final Fantasy XIV. According to producer Naoki Yoshida, the event was created due to a lack of official summer holidays. The event will begin on May 27th a 1 a.m. PDT and will run through June 10th at 7:59 a.m. PDT.
During the event, players will be able to earn a number of rewards, including a Eureka emote, a Senor Sabotender Trophy, a Golden Sparkler, and a Gold Saucer Ticket, which grants players one free play at any Gold Saucer mini-game.
“Ollier, an attendant of the Gold Saucer, is seeking volunteers to sample a number of attractions before they’re released to the public,” reads the event’s description. “Those seeking respite from arduous adventures in the wilds of Eorzea are encouraged to seek him out.”
Final Fantasy XIV is available for PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. The next major update for the game, entitled Revenge of the Horde, will be released on June 7th. The update will add a new trial, a special dungeon, a 24-player raid, new main story quests, new side quests, and more.
