Up from 53% on the first Elusive Target, Hitman players came together for a respectable 60% success rate for the game’s second limited time target.
Challenging players to kill The Congressman without the help of saves or in-game assists, Hitman offered the Elusive Target for only 48 hours at the end of last month. “We’re happy to say that ET#2 was a resounding success,” Io Interactive shares in a post on the game’s website.
“We were watching with anticipation as our social media pages and forums lit up with stories about poisoning wine, staking out sniping spots, sneaking around the mansion and causing some creative chaos that ultimately ended with eliminating The Congressman.”
Part of making Hitman a living-game, Elusive Targets are meant to be the ultimate Hitman fantasy, throwing players into a mission with no second chances and just their wits to guide them.
“There are more Elusive Targets to come across the different destinations,” the developer promises. “Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh all have Elusive Targets lined up in the coming weeks and we’ll have a lot more to say about what’s happening with Hitman and Elusive Targets before and during E3.”
Hitman’s third episode, Marrakesh, released last week. Are you murdering your way through the Moroccan streets? How did you fare with the Elusive Target? Let us know in the comments.
