Developer Bungie recently gave details on the new raid in Destiny’s upcoming expansion, Rise of Iron.
According to Game Informer, the upcoming raid in Destiny will be called Wrath of the Machine. Wrath of the Machine will launch on September 23rd, just a few days after Destiny’s next expansion, Rise of Iron, releases. This is a little quicker than raids have been released in the past, as Bungie usually keeps endgame content locked longer, giving players more time to check out everything in the new expansion. Guardians should use this time to reach the new Light Level cap of 385 in order to take on the raid.
Last month Bungie revealed that they will no longer support Destiny on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox One after this month. After August, players will not be able to transfer their game data between the console generations as easily as they could in the past. Bungie has stated that there will be a way for gamers to transfer their game data between consoles in the future, but for now they will keep the two versions of the game separate.
Destiny is available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Rise of Iron will release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 20th.
